Morning playground supervision starts at 8:20 am.
École Rocky Elementary operates on a ‘Balanced School Day’. Our schedule has two equal length nutrition and recreation breaks and three ~100-minute blocks of uninterrupted learning. An easy way to conceptualize the balanced day is to think in terms of a hockey game, with three equal periods of action broken up by two intermissions. Both intermissions are 35 minutes in length, allowing for a 15 minute lunch and a 20 minute recess.
