Mr. Tim Bowman

Hello! Bonjour!

I am thrilled to work at École Rocky Elementary. I arrived in 2019, and have found it to be a very caring school! I grew up near the village of Onoway, Alberta (northwest of Edmonton). During my youth, I was heavily involved in music, 4-H, and helping out on the farm.

I started teaching in 1997 with many years as a music specialist in K-9 schools split between Spruce Grove and Red Deer. After receiving my M.Ed (Leadership & School Improvement from the University of Alberta), I served as an assistant principal in Whitecourt and then principal of a school in Ponoka before arriving in Rocky Mountain House. I have thoroughly enjoyed every year working with students.

Personally, I am married to my lovely wife Paula and we have two high school aged children. Outside of school, I direct the Lacombe Community Band, play trombone in the Flat Iron Jazz Band, fish, golf, and follow my kids around to dance and soccer events.
