"Sell My School"
The next school activity in our ramp up to celebrating 100 years of learning is the "Sell My School" project as it was introduced in the March ÉRE TV.
- Students, families, and alumni are encouraged to participate
- This project was first completed in 1996 by Bill Symko as an Education Week project.
- The basic premise is to write an article that highlights the best features of the school. Attention to detail, grammar, neatness will be appreciated, but the most important component is that it is honest and helps people be excited to visit our school.
- There are prizes for K-2, 3-5, and adult entries. The prizes include free hot lunch in May up to guest admin assistant and guest principal of the school
- Submissions should be one page maximum. They can be in French or English, handwritten or completed on a computer. Original drawings can also be submitted as part of the entry.
- Deadline for entries is April 30
